It was a great start to the game by Arsenal and they created many chances in the match, but It was Chelsea who took the lead through Frank Lampard in what was totaly against the run of play. It is becoming an familiar story this season as Arsenal start the match strong but go behind once their defence is called upon in the action.
Per Mertesacker is involved at the other end of the pitch now as Arsenal capitalise on a suicidal clearance from Branislav Ivanovic to set up the German, Arsenal at the halftime should be winning as thenumber of chances they created are way more than what Chelsea did on the other end.

Preview: Arsenal will play against Udinese in the Champions League Qualifier match tonight at Emirates Stadium. Arsenal have never lost a UEFA Champions League qualifying tie and they will be struggling to overcome Udinese to be able to qualify for 14th consecutive seasons.

Departure of Arsenal skipper, Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri has surely left Arsenal's midfield in the dark. Jack Wilshare and Diaby are expected to fill in the space but they both are currently injured. So Rosicky and Ramsey will be playing in the middle. Also, gunners will be playing tonight without their new captain, Robin van Persie, who is in suspended after getting red card against Barcelona last season. Recent Arsenal form: DLDWW




Arsenal will have to play a very tricky match against Italian team Udinese who will be hoping to go out there and put a good result against Arsenal in the first leg and make it easy for the 2nd leg. Arsenal have sold their most priced asset, Cesc Fabregas has transfered to FC Barcelona after a most long trasfer saga. Now Arsenal have 15 days to buy a replacement for him which is going to be difficult and it will be iteresting to see how this match pans out after Fabregas has been sold.
Now It does look like Udinese have a strong chance of getting through to the Champions League proper while Arsenal will have to play some very good football in the first leg and get positve result to take away from home or they will be in danger of missing out on the Champions League group stages.

Livescore - Stoke City vs Chelsea Hilight – 14 August 2011

Stoke City will be hosting Premier League runner ups on the Opening day of the League season 2011-2012 which will be starting from Saturday, 13 August but Chelsea will play their match against Stoke on Sunday afternoon and it will be a very exciting match as Stoke are a very difficult team to play against, specialy at their home ground. Chelsea will have to cut their work out ad be at their best to get somthing from this match. New Manager Villa-Boes will be looking to start the season with a win and get 3 points on the table.
Stoke City tend to play better at home and they had a very good record last season, they do play physical football but Chelsea have the players and the resources to get better of them. If Stoke can get a draw and start their season with a good result against Chelsea they will be really excited and the fans as well.
Chelsea on the other hand did not spend big in the Transfer window, their striker Fernando Torrest will be eager to go out there and start performing on the pitch as he has been a flop since his Janaury transfer sale from Liverpool to Chelsea.
